a bit like Beach House in vocals + Joy Formidable in guitars, Deaf Club awaken your lull with their bass+drums in what can only be described as a brooding manner. The comparison to other bands makes you a bit nostalgic for something that probably never was, but it's good stuff all the same.

Overall, it's a nice first EP, with glimmers of promise,

but skip "It, She", i think that one's a bit shite, or don't skip it, but you'll probably agree with me.
