A 22 year old called Randy from Michigan who lives at home with his parents? ah, but this is no ordinary mummy's boy, among one of his biggest influences is Jesus...yes, but there's also Brian Wilson (of the Beach Boys), and I think he's probably his greater (musical) saviour. Their similar existential views on music is apparent, without Deastro going as far as being introspective. 

With what is now a quartet, Deastro create synth-rich hyperactive dream pop that's a sweet mess to the ears. Look carefully and you'll find superheroes, galaxies and lost souls in the songs.

Deastro are in London 9th-12th May. The live show is the stuff of dreams, his hyperactivity flows through the keys. You can't and won't be able to stay still. Promise.
