Easter Sunday.

So, I went along to the Open All Hours gig at Camden Barfly to take some photies of The Wild Mercury Sound (see above) who were as tight as I'd heard. Their performance was frenetic, engaging and just damn good. They even tried out some sheep love:

Then, out of nowhere, I started chatting with "James", who at the time was just a very open, love-able drunk guy but it turns out he has a band and they're not half bad. Bruised Beauties is made up of James and his sister on vocals, two other blokes and another girl. The result is a nice mixture of a kind of Libertines/Long Blondes mash.
